You Have Me

1 Sam 1:8

And Elkanah, her husband, said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? And why do you not eat? And why is your heart sad? Am I not more to you than ten sons?"

Hannah was sad because she did not have any children. Her husband Elkanah, loved her all the same and was telling her, "You have me, we share something special." Is our special bond not worth more to you than this thing you are wishing for?

Elkanah is like Jesus. He is saying to you today, "You have me. What we share is special. You have needs, yes, but our bond is stronger than any desire you may have." Jesus is saying, "You have me. You have everything."

Don't ever let what you see make you ever feel insecure about your relationship with Jesus. Don't ever lose sight of your place.

You may not feel powerful or anointed, but you have a relationship with Jesus! You may feel like you do not have everything you are looking for, but you have Him. Let that be your comfort, and let that be your boast.

He says, "Come on, you have me." Never forget.

Oneness with Him, that is all that matters.

Let the one who boasts, boast only in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:31
